The Account Manager- Client Services role will support our Merchandising Client Services department and our employees. This role will be responsible for managing client accounts resulting in between $10,000 and $15,000 of billable work per month.  The Account Manager- Client Services will play a key role in supporting the Senior Account Executive with building and maintaining client relationships and intra- departmental communication, managing project execution timelines, resolving client complaints, and communicating project needs and expectations to the field.  Specific duties will include working closely with the Client Experience Administrator on MPlan set-up, creating reporting according to client specific needs, billing, and daily communication between Jacent and each client.  

Duties & Responsibilities

  • MPlan / Movista account creation and set-up for clients
  • Train new clients on how to utilize Jacent project dashboards and portals
  • Work with the Accounting team to submit and record client billing
  • Maintain reporting for customers and be able to speak to results and provide feedback 
  • Manage client relationships in order to understand client goals and growth objectives
  • Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel
  • Retail / Merchandising experience preferred 
  • Customer service experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to connect with clients on a personal level and build strong relationships
  • Positive attitude regardless of situation 
  • Ability to learn / apply new software tools
  • Sound understanding of field service

Experience and Credentials

  • Minimum 5-years of experience working with CPG/retailer customers
  • Demonstrated 5 plus years in a customer service role(s)
  • Supervisory experience a plus

Strong interpersonal skills with supporting references
